San Francisco based singer/songwriter “Bing” Richard Collora & Drummer Jerry Pellizzer formed this hard driving band filled with a long musical pedigree, blending R&B, Funk, Rock and Pop into a stew of original dance music.

The band’s musical influences are a mash of Chicago,Tower of Power, Blood Sweat & Tears and Earth, Wind & Fire.

The summer of 2005, marked the release of The Bingtones debut album, American Dream featuring fresh, memorable tunes filled with moment-after-moment of heartfelt, inspirational songs. In 2008 they released there 2nd LP Old School Is The New Cool.  An All-Star Bay Area "Who's Who" where assembled to form this 13pcs. band. The Bingtones joined forces  on stage and in the studio with former and current members of Huey Lewis & The News, Boz Scaggs, Beyonce, Blood Sweat & Tears, James Brown, Miles Davis, Etta James, Stevie Wonder, Cold Blood, Santana, Keepers of the Golden Heart and the list goes on.


The band's vibe is definitely old school, yet hip like your Father's Oldsmobile.
